I DIDN'T GET HERE BECAUSE I ALWAYS KNEW WHAT I WAS DOING
I got here because I kept living. Along the way, there has been deep love, mistakes, heartbreak, healing, and more than a few times when I trusted other people's voices more than my own. Five marriages. Two engagements. Chapters I certainly wouldn't have chosen if someone had handed me the script ahead of time.
There were times I questioned myself—and times I had to begin again. Yet through all of it, I discovered something that changed the way I see my life: None of those experiences had to define who I would become. They became part of the path that brought me closer to myself, closer to God and Spirit, and closer to the life I am so grateful to be living today.

MY SPIRITUAL LIFE BECAME PART OF HOW I LIVE MY HUMAN LIFE
Around the age of forty, I had a near-death experience.
I didn't come back with every answer. What followed were decades of living, healing, learning, questioning, awakening, surrendering, and gradually understanding more about what I had experienced and what it meant to me.
Over time, my relationship with God, Spirit, the invisible realm, and my own inner guidance became less about something I practiced only during meditation or prayer. It became part of how I live. How I love. How I make decisions and create boundaries. How I dream, create, listen, and recover when I get something wrong. And how I recognize when something within me is saying YES, NO, or simply NOT YET.
This connection became something I learned to trust because I needed to. There had been times when I looked outside myself for answers and gave other people's voices more authority than my own. Learning to slow down, listen within, and deepen my faith began to change that. It didn't make me perfect. It helped me become more fully me.
I’m very human—and I like it that way.
I laugh. I cry. I make mistakes. And I create art, practice Qigong, take walks, write, dream, love deeply, get excited about possibilities, talk to God, listen, learn, and continue growing. I'm perfectly imperfect.
When I get something wrong, I can feel whatever I need to feel, take responsibility for my part, learn from it, and choose not to make that experience my identity. My spirituality doesn't require me to stop being human. For me, it's what helps me live my humanity with greater love, faith, freedom, gratitude, and joy.
Art, spirituality, relationships, creativity, teaching, and everyday life aren't separate pieces of me anymore. They're simply Joanne.
WHY SPIRITUAL LIFE COACH & TEACHER?
Both words matter to me. I coach because I believe you are the authority on your own life. And I teach because I want you to learn how to do this for yourself.
You don't need me to tell you what your intuition is saying or what decision you should make. Instead, I can help you learn how to listen more deeply, recognize your own inner guidance, bring your heart and mind together, and develop greater trust in what feels true for you.
You don't have to believe what I believe either. Words like God, Spirit, Infinite Creator, Divine Guidance, intuition, inner wisdom, energy, and the invisible realm are meaningful to me. You may have completely different words—and that's okay.
What matters most
What matters is discovering what is meaningful to you and how that deeper connection can become part of the way you live your own human life.

Sometimes your heart knows what it would love before your mind knows how.
I love those words. Sometimes your heart knows what it would love before your mind has any idea how it could possibly happen. And sometimes you've spent so much time believing in everyone else that believing in yourself feels unfamiliar.
You don't need someone to take over or direct your life. You may simply want someone beside you who can listen without judgment, hear beneath some of the fear, ask questions that help you hear yourself differently, and believe with you while your own belief grows stronger.
